BUNDABERG TO BRISBANE (CYCLE QLD) (30 August 2008

Cycle Queensland 2008 is a 9-day bicycle ride from Bundaberg to Brisbane. hundreds of cyclists will be using the following roads: THURSDAY 04/09/08 - Gympie Road out of Tin Can Bay into Tin Can Bay Road, Pomona Kin Kin Road, Pound Road, Exhibition Street, Pomona. FRIDAY 05/09/08 - From Pomona Pomona Kin Kin Road, Traveston Road right into Bruce Highway for 1km left into Traveston Crossing Road (speed reductions on Bruce Highway), Gympie-Brooloo Road, Kenilworth-Brooloo Road into Kenilworth. SATURDAY 06/09/08 - From Kenilworth, Maleny-Kenilworth Road to Maleny right into Maleny-Stanley River Road, Kilcoy-Beerwah Road into Beerwah. SUNDAY 07/09/08 - From Beerwah, Mawhinney Street right into Steve Irwin Way, right into Beerburrum Road, Hamilton Road, Dances Road, right into Pumicestone Road, Caboolture, Beerburrum Road, Burpengary-Caboolture Road, Buchanan Road, Deception Bay Road, Anzac Ave, Hornibrook Esplanade, Redcliffe

Road Closures affect the David Low Way between Hewitt Street and Springfield Avenue. Area closed Saturday 11 October from 1pm -10pm and Sunday 12 October from 10am - 5pm. Traffic in area are to follow diversion signs.

Traffic disruptions on Warren Road Yaroomba. VMS (Variable Message Signs) and parking signs will be erected on roads surrounding the Hyatt Coolum Resort. Designated parking areas and traffic controllers will assist motorists and maintain traffic flow.
MALENY CHRISTMAS STREET CARNIVAL (5 December 2008)
Closure of the Landsborough-Maleny road (Maple Street) in Maleny between 5.00pm and 10.00pm. Road closure signs will be in place.
