Metropolitan
Region

Welcome to the Traffic Information web site for the Metropolitan Region.

The Metropolitan Region covers the local government areas of Brisbane, Redland, Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley. Its boundaries stretch from Brighton in the north to Townson in the south, and west from Moreton Bay through Ipswich and Gatton to the Great Dividing Range. From the bustling streets of Queensland’s capital to the rural connecting roads in the beautiful Lockyer Valley, the region is responsible for connecting more Queenslanders than any other.

Special Note: For specific information on flooding and road conditions, please refer to The Department of Main Roads website www.mainroads.qld.gov.au or visit the RACQ website www.racq.com.au.
